Sandy Winters: Creation and Destruction

In her exhibition titled “Creation and Destruction,” contemporary artist Sandy Winters combines the mediums of printmaking, drawing, and painting to realize her mural-like constructions of an imagined future of biological plant-animal-machine hybrids. She depicts environments of abstracted forms that are forbidding, yet also playful and strangely familiar. For the last 40 years, her art has been exhibited widely in museums and galleries throughout the United States, including the DeLand Museum in Florida, the Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas, the Flaten Art Museum in Northfield, Minnesota, and George Adams Gallery in New York City.

This exhibition is supported in part by EPACC.
