Canceled: Ike: The Making of an American Hero

A documentary film on Dwight Eisenhower and World War II

In honor of the 75th Anniversary of V-E Day, join for a special showing of George Colburn's new documentary on Dwight D. Eisenhower. The film traces Eisenhower’s rise from a low-level officer in a small peacetime American army to the Supreme Allied Commander who led the fight to liberate western Europe from the control of Nazi Germany. As the greatest American hero of World War II, “Ike” was able a few years later to become the presidential candidate most Americans wanted to fight the “Cold War” against the Soviet Union and its Chinese ally.

A meet and greet with Colburn will follow the film's conclusion.
