Physics Lecture by Christopher Haddock

"Solving Problems in Fundamental Physics Using Neutrons"

Christopher Haddock, PhD, Postdoctoral Researcher, NIST and University of Maryland Joint Quantum Institute

I will discuss some of the biggest problems facing modern physics such as dark matter, dark energy, and matter/antimatter asymmetry of the universe and how we are using neutrons to try and resolve them. I will describe a few ongoing experimental collaborations in this subfield that I am involved in and what we hope to find.
