Event Title: in- person tours - to introduce on-campus students to the basics of using the library
Organization: MUSSELMAN LIBRARY
Musselman Library is offering in-person “microtours” to introduce students to the basics of using the library. Tours will be offered Mon-Thu, 11am – 7pm from now until the end of the semester, and students can sign up online or walk up to the Check Out desk and ask for a microtour. Open to all on-campus students, the microtours are designed especially for First Years and others who are new to the college. Tours will last 15 minutes and are capped at 4 participants at a time.
Students will learn how to use the library’s website to search for books, access research guides and databases, and get help with citations. They’ll also learn how to get more in-depth help from a librarian through online chat or email. Finally, they’ll take a self-guided tour of the building. When they finish, they will be able to choose some cool library swag as a prize.
