It began in the Spring of 2007 with an idea: to give students the space to share their experience. It has evolved into a movement designed to challenge the cultural climate at Gettysburg College. A small and vibrant group of White students, Students of Color and International students gather weekly to discuss race issues in Gettysburg College, in the world, and in their personal lives. We engage in dialogue in an environment that is respectful, frank and even humorous to dismantle racial myths, expose white privilege, confront internalized racism.
