Environmental Leadership Symposium

Hundresds of millions of dollars are being allocated in the name of environmental protection in South Florida, but this investment is also creating the foundation for continued growth in the area and enabling polluting industries.

Under the leadership of Dr. Howard Ernst, Environmental Leadership participants traveled to Florida to learn about water management policy from over a dozen key officials from the Army Corps of Engineers, South Florida Water Management District, Everglades Law Center, Loxahatchee River District, and other stakeholder organizations.

Join us for this year’s annual symposium, where the students will present policy proposals from a white paper that they will submit to officials in the South Florida water management community.
